Dunk Tank Information

For $1 per ball, you can dunk a fellow Shepherd resident. Participants (or, “victims”) include Shepherd Police Chief Luke Sawyer, SHS Band director JoAnn Gross and Shepherd High School assistant principal Carrie Gauthier.

On the Jaydar

A few weeks ago, the Shepherd Police Department received a donation which allowed them to purchase a sign and radar system which could be used as a deterrent to speeders in the town. Chief Sawyer wrote about the sign in a post published on the Shepherd Police Department’s Facebook page on July 19:

About a month ago a resident approached me about a digital speed sign he had in saw in Florida and thought it would be great to have in the Village. I agreed that it would be great…but the purchase of it was nowhere in our budget. He quickly told me that he would have the money to me very soon. I have heard these promises before…so honestly, i was not holding my breath.

Greetings from Prinicipal Brock

I hope that you are taking advantage of spending time with your families this summer. I look forward to meeting all of you during the upcoming academic school year as your Principal. I am grateful for this opportunity to work with such great people and my family is very excited to be back in my hometown as I am a proud 1996 SHS graduate. It will be an honor to help build upon all of the great programs offered to students at Shepherd Middle School. Our goal for this year will be to improve our student achievement through positive relationships, improved instruction, and targeted interventions.
